Feeding the world is of vital importance to those of us who are fortunate enough to have ample food daily. According to recent reports, over 800 million people are hungry. In developing nations over 800 million people are hungry, and over 1 billion people live on less than $1 a day. This adversely affects the most vulnerable portion of our humanity -- the children and pregnant women. Consider the following facts:
Over 150 million children under age 5 are underweight
11 million children under age 5 die every year -- over half from hunger related causes
1 in 6 people are hungry
1 in 4 people lack safe drinking water
In industrialized and developed nations 9 million are undernourished
Hunger is not just related to undeveloped nations

The question is not, "Should I help?" but "How can I help?"
Here are just a few ways you can become involved in agriculture projects.
Donate your time to feeding kitchens
Donate your financial resources
Volunteer to help on a regular basis
If you are trained in agriculture ask God, "What do You want me to do with my life?"
Serve as an intern or short-term missionary in another country or in the USA
