Agricultural Workers - Agrimissions - Global Resource Team

The Global Resource Team (GRT) is a ministry of The Mission Society comprised of specialists and professionals answering a call to serve as support for field missionaries, indigenous churches or groups and other mission agencies. Team member are charged with directing projects on a field or collaborating with other mission agencies on certain projects. Complete training is required of those who serve as either career or mission affiliate. Members of GRT may opt to live in the US or overseas depending upon the nature and purpose of their ministry.
Career GRT Members (CA) - Career GRT members devote 100% of their time to serving the needs of the field through regular on-site visits to both overseas and regional ministries. When not on the field the career GRT members are expected to develop training aids to be distributed in the field, maintain correspondence with areas of ministry, continue to raise the necessary funds for both personal and project support, and other duties as may be assigned by leadership of The Mission Society. Career GRT members are expected to complete all missionary training with the exception of MTI and language acquisition. EXCEPTION: Any GRT missionary living overseas must complete all training.
Mission Affiliate GRT Members (MA) - Mission Affiliate GRT members consist of our partners that desire to be of service on a part-time basis, collaborate with us on projects and serve on an as needed basis. Their areas and methods of service are described in their individual contact information included in this directory. To be listed as mission affiliate they must be available to assist field missionaries and go on at least one short-term trip per year. Mission affiliate members of GRT must complete all training required for full-time members. Mission affiliate GRT members should devote 20% of their time to ministry with The Mission Society.
